From the beginning, SCOPE has encouraged leadership capacity in youth. For example, we have done the Maze of Life, a life skills event that gives youth a scenario and options, much like the Choose Your Own Adventure series. Some booths were about healthy eating, university, teen pregnancy, the Sherriff's department, substance use prevention. We also host assemblies to help youth make better decisions, and we offer awareness programs about vaping, smoking, and opioids. We also offer school sponsorships to assist schools provide youth outreach to their students.
