OUR COMMITMENT

SCOPE promotes mental health for children and youth and their families. We understand that mental health brings community health. 

Since our inception, SCOPE has focused on all aspects of community development, including mental health. Look at our many programs that promote mental health in children and youth, including monthly Mental Health Paint Parties, Youth Mental Health First Aid, substance use prevention, Wellness Wednesday Movie Series, and more.

Free Guided Painting Sessions

Come join us for a guided painting session! Participants will receive a free painting session, all painting supplies included. Bring your smiles and an open mind as we share the join of painting and good company!

YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID

Learn to Help Youth in Mental Health Crisis

Join us to learn how to help young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) teaches you to listen without judgment, know the signs and symptoms of a mental health challenge, and how to refer a youth to the right support.

The next YMHFA is 12/15 at 8 am.

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY MOVIES

Enjoy a FREE Movie with SCOPE Youth!

SCOPE, Socorro  County Juvenile Justice Board, and the Socorro Public Library present a FREE movie with concessions at the LOMA theater to all community members. The movies are paired with a positive message or part of the "Book to Movie" series from the Library. 


Admission, Small Drinks, and Small Popcorn are provided.
